About Colors Of The SunAlready the first gig was extraordinary! 1500 excited spectators had the chance to see Colors Of The Sun fantastic live show supporting the famous crossover band Clawfinger. After the release of their first demo CD "Sing you home" the boys were not to stop anymore: Tons of live gigs touring from Munich to Kiel brought them into the interlude of Reamonn, Travis and Mother Tongue. After they have won many newcomer competitions the jury of the John-Lennon-Talent-Award got attentive to them. After a preselection, Colors Of The Sun got chosen under the top 20 of about 1500 transmittals for a coaching programme under the involvement of Viva & WDR Rockpalast. This leaded to the cooperation with the producer Zeus B. Held, who has produced famous artists like Nina Hagen, Udo Lindenberg or bands like Transvision Vamp or Killing Joke. After the first records (EP - 4 New Tracks) the band has finished their first album "To The Lovers And The Dead" in November 2005, which was released on Jazzhaus Records. Now they already work on their second album. For those who have never seen Colors Of The Sun live before - they really missed something. The brilliant stage presende - "the fire the boys spark off on stage" (Badische Zeitung) gets the crowd into a delirium! |
