About Lina Button

The Singer and Songwriter Lina Button plays home-made blues pop. Her lyrics are about the gathering and cheating, about breaking up and burning, about fire and frustration, about cold and lust, about love and burden and about confusion and haste. She plays her music in an honest way directly to the heart of her listener and it doesn’t matter if that happens in front of five or five thousand people.

At the moment she is preparing her first album which will be released at the beginning of 2011. She does everything on her own, from writing the songs to organize the concerts. "I never thought that the musician's life can be so stressful! I don`t know where it all will end! But the wish to live on making music is certainly there"

Musically, she has already found a home in the warm blues-pop. That fits to the intimate atmosphere at their concerts. Lina grew up with blues, country and the Beatles, it`s the music her parents listened to you. "I used to turn up my nose, now I am glad to grown up with this music. But I am also listening to recent artists, mostly women with strong voices, like KT Tunstall, Sheryl Crow or Fiona Apple. She summarizes the content of their songs with the words of a friend: "The songs are about the emotional colours of life.” Authentic, just like a young songwriter shall be.
