About The Pleasure

"Not many German musicians write so many good melodies" wrote the music magazine Sweet Jane Music in August 2006. From 1995  to 1999 people could listen regularly to  The Pleasure. In the year 2000 the band went into the studio and concentrated exclusively on producing the new album on their own authority. In 2002 the album "Didn't catch the sun for shadows" was released. In 2004 "Hash brown smilings" was released on Jazzhaus Records and finally as double album "The Pleasure". All albums were praised by the critics.

"...phenomenal reliable sense of style." (Eclipsed Magazin)
"...every song is a profit!" (Onetake Magazin)
"...this music is something for people who aree not interessted in articficially beefed up superficiality" (RTV)
"...9 of 10 points!" (Die Blümchentapete)

In England the critics were not less enthusiastic:

"...this is a trio who hail from Germany but are creating music so drenched in Brit Pop that it could easily have strayed out of a rehearsal room in London" (Romm Thirteen)
"...looks like a labour of love" (Manchester Music)
